New carburetor prices are high.

I just looked up the price of my Holley Ultra Street Avenger 770 Carburetor and it's currently selling for over $800. I'm sure it was about half that in 2014 when I purchased one.

I always buy good quality used carbs.

As long as shafts are tight and no damage,
I will go thru them anyway before use.

I have 50+ used carbs in my shop that I paid less than five new ones
would cost these days with the insane prices!

Holley. Another company bought out by greedy NY private equity. Expect more price hikes and shittier products until they drive it into the ground, sell off assets, and leave the pensioners holding their wangs.
