where can I find the settings botton for the last replies on topics I'm following?

the dot to the left of the thread title will take you to last un-read reply.

Is that what you mean?

I think you're talking about watched threads, it used to be the settings page before.
That's what I have set as my start page.

Top right. Alerts pertains to all your watched threads and when someone likes or thanks one of your posts or pics. I used the settings too but this is the new method.

The settings are all in where your username is on the top right. Click your username up there -- and look for Alert Settings
