I’ve owned a few Mopars in the past, the last of which was an In Violet 383 4 spd ‘70 Cuda which I sold in 1994 for $3800 so I could put a down payment on my house.....sure wish I could have a mulligan on that one. Anyhow, I’ve been out of the game for a while but I’m back and now have a ‘70 GTX to restore with my son.

If you’re a Mopar guy/gal and are in my area, feel free to message me
and maybe we can meet up.

Frank

Welcome to FBBO from SoCal. The more Canucks the merrier. By the way you do know pics of your ride are the price of entry to the forum. Aye...

Welcome from NJ Frank and welcome back to Mopar land! Please upload some pictures of the new project and maybe the older one as well. We need visual confirmation to feel complete! :D

Sorry fellas...how silly of me. It’s not pretty yet but it’s all there and the hunt for parts has started

Welcome, great project. Good luck to you and your son.

A GTX is always pretty - no matter the stage of recovery

I love my X friends!

To MM welcome to the forum and congrats on the X!

Maybe you and your son could do a build thread here int the restoration section?

We hope to start some kind of build thread. The car will be sitting for about 8 months. I’m working on my building permits for a shop to build it in first

Many many moons ago....I was that son in a father/son project and man the memories from that point forward were golden......

It is very nice that you and your son are going to embark on this project!

Welcome Aboard From SW CT! Always glad to see another Mopar being saved! A Father/Son project is a priceless memory and countless stories will be told in future years.

Welcome aboard. I'm from Burlington too. North Burlington. I'm working on a 67 Charger. Nice looking GTX. It took us a year for all our permits for our garage.
