I always thought the C in the interior seat code stood for "Charger" and meant bucket seats.

Someone took time to smooth out the outboard 73 hood body lines to match the 72 header panel.

You usually don't see that.

Before 1971, C was usually a console code on the body plate. Being this is a 72, and the C in the trim location, it is part of the interior group. And all those crazy patterns, one year only and stuff, it’s hard to keep up with those later years. I can picture this particular color combination, meadow green with a white and green pattern bench seat and a 318. And Mrs Smith at the wheel, headed up to Woolworth for some supplies and a malt at the lunch counter.
