Hey folks,
I should have registered here a long time ago. I have had my car for over 24 years now and have loved it like my baby! It's gone through a lot of changes over the years, but it spent most of its life going down the 1/4 mile. Now I'm headed in a new direction, but here are some pictures from about 10 years ago. I'll post some newer images soon.

The car is currently in my garage going through some serious changes. When it emerges next spring, it will be a pro-touring beast with a 560hp engine. Should be fun I'm sure.

Here's a few pics from last fall. I changed the colour of the interior from white to black. I used a spray-on vinyl dye to change the seats and re-painted the inner door skins to match. I hope you'll agree that it looks pretty nice.

The new source of power! A 400 stroked to 475ci with a hydraulic roller cam, roller rockers. Soon to have a new Milodon pro-touring oil pan.

Hi kiltedrunner, welcome! :wav:

What a great intro with all those fine pictures of your car. Very clean.

Here's a quick video of the new mill running on a friends engine stand. We were using a carburetor for the run-up, but I plan to use an EZ EFI 2.0 to give it some mild manners on the street.

That's one sweet ride! I lived in Winnipeg for six years and I know what it takes to stay warm in the winter. Working on that car will help!

Yup - Manitoba plates. If you haven't seen my car in a while, it's likely because it's been held up in my garage for 8 years. I blew the transmission on the day of my wedding... LOL .... and haven't had a chance to do much with the car until the last few years.

Started rebuilding the trans and then decided it needed some other items to make it more fun to drive (ie. easy). The 383 was a monster so it was lots to worry about. With that said, I have gone in a direction that will make the car easier to drive and less to be worried about.

Here's a few pics of the car last fall just after I re-did the interior, installed LED tail lights, new Hotchkis swaybar and leafsprings. I have since lowered the rear end by 2 inches. I plan to put 19's and 20's on the car - though I just can't decide on the right wheels yet.
