So a quick update. A lot has been done on my car since my last picture posts, but I'm afraid I neglected to take the time to track that stuff well.
When I was first taking my car out for a spin I found power steering fluid on my k-frame and the side of the engine. I assumed it was the power steering pump, so I removed it countless times, rebuilt it with new o-rings countless times and was almost through until I finally had my 6 year old son turn the steering while the engine was running. Here's what it looked like from up top...

I slid under the car to check it out...
Looking at the nose of the steering box from under the front bumper of the car. No wonder I missed it all along. Just a small strip of paint missing.
The fix was a replacement steering box. While I didn't want to spend the money, I was looking for something smaller that wouldn't hit my headers. I found a Borgeson steering box (
www.bergmanautocraft.com) that was not only smaller, but lighter too. Removing the old steering box was a challenge to say the least, I had to remove the header, power steering pump and jack the engine up as much as I could to so I could squeeze the steering box out.
I installed the Borgeson steering box as quickly as possible and it went in without too much trouble at all.
Here the headers are still unhooked so I could get the box lined up.
