Hey all! A new guy here checking in from MO. I've got a whole stable of Mopars hanging around, including a '72 GTX clone project, an '87 GLHS project, a 400whp '04 SRT4, a '90 Ramcharger off roader, a '99 Cherokee, an '07 Crossfire, and an '04 Ram 3500 Cummins work truck. You could say I'm a big fan of the Pentastar! :D I'm currently refinining the setup on my '77 Charger Daytona, which has a procharged/intercooled 469" stroker. I don't know how I haven't found this site sooner??? Anyway, I'm here now and it's a very cool site! I look forward to chatting with you folks, and hanging around for a while.

Welcome to FBBO forum from NorCal, it sound like a large stable of Mopars there...

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys! I've been looking around quite a bit in the past few days, and lo and behold, I found pictures of my car already on here! Who knew? So even though I am brand new, evidently my car has been here for a while! LOL!

Welcome Mopardik

I live near Lee's Summit Missouri. Where is Oakville? I had a herd of Mopars but am down to only 3. The ones I let get away...

It's right near the MO/IL border, about 20 miles south of St. Louis. Near the intersection of I-55 and I-270. Yeah, I've let a few get away myself. That '69 4-speed RR, and an '86 Buick GN (I know I know, not a Mopar!) really stick in my craw, though. That's the reason I've got a bunch now, I don't turn loose of them anymore! :laughing6:

Do you attend the big Mopar show in the St. Louis area? I did once with a bunch of friends. We got on the wrong road and ended up in East St. Louis. That was fun. Nothing wrong with a Buick GN. If I had a place to store what I have, I'd get a few more myself. I "gave" a "friend" who owned a gas station, and was a Mopar guy, my 68 Sport Satellite 383 in return for building my 68 Barracuda. We weren't that good of friends because I found out he was on the lam and the police were after him. He was a coke dealer. He gave my car away to someone who needed it for a Road Runner restoration. I was moving back here that week and never saw him or my car again. I left my 65 2 door Dart 273 V8 with a brother in Fresno when I moved here, same week, and he later sold it out from under me. One I sold to a kid a who totaled it a week later. If I could go back in time, first I'd put a boot up my you know what, and get my cars back.

That sucks how you lost those rides, man. I feel for ya. And yeah, I will be at Monster Mopar Weekend this year, as I have been for many years. I didn't go last year when they had it in Indy (GIR was closed), but now that it's back, so am I. It's the weekend of 6/8-10. I would also love to make that Show-Me Mopar show, but not sure on that one yet.
