My Dad is picking up a 1963 Dodge Polara 440 and was wondering if we could put a Slant6 in there with the V8 K frame... the motor in it is not original and seized.. and we have a running 225 Slant 6

Lot easier to stay with a v8, but that is your call not mine. Thousands of decent v8s out there cheaper than you would probably pay for mounts,k frame and exhaust

Around here, you can pick up "less desirable" 70's and 80's cars with running, driving 318/904 combos for 400-700 bucks. 90's trucks with 5.2/5.9 magnums can be had for 1000-1200, but then there's more expense vs the 70's and 80's cars which is basically a drop in.
