I am using a direct oem quality alternator and it is running through a remanned ammeter the wiring harness and bulk head has also been replaced with a prefabbed harness i done a complete resto the car is drivable and runs well just trying to improve on a few things i know these cars had major wiring issuesWelcome aboard Sir, from the middle of the mitten. As for you lights flickering could use more information. Are you using the original alternator or have you replaced it? Is the other wiring (bulkhead connector, etc) original or has it been replaced. Any high draw extras added on to the load? Are you running thru the ammeter or has that been bypassed or modified?
