So I'm struck by two things after watching Pinks all this time (sorry, that's the only experience with drag racing I have):

1: You can apparently drag race quietly with no drama at all and it seems pretty relaxing in the car when the driver knows what he's doing.

2: Holy Crap those walls look narrow! And where was the other guy? In that same narrow space!

Nice job my friend. Now I know what real drag racing looks like...

I'm on the left, he's on the left. I cut a light on him and never looked back. He goes 10.50's and i'm 9.0-9.10, if he doesn't get me on the tree its all over.

I just put back my original Carter carbs. I am losing a solid .1-.15 with the carbs that were on the car yesterday.
Going to bring them up to V & V this week, he wants to see whats causing the ultra rich condition at WOT.
Its real fat on passenger side. I always run .116 square with this setup and its showing way rich.11.45 on passenger side and 12.45 drivers side on A/F reading from my Racepak.

looked like a nice straight run, congrats... was it still breaking up in top of second & high gear ?? or was that just wind noise you hear ?? or just on the rev limiter maybe ?? I only saw the shift light & couldn't really read the tach, on my screen anyway...

1ST & 2ND no miss, in 3rd at 7600 ,it wasn't pulling as usual. chang3ed out my carbs to my original ones. going back next weekend.
