Hey guys. I already broke my posting virginity, but I figure I had better introduce myself and my story, along with my cars.

Name is Jeff, I'm 20 yrs old and I have been a gear-head since I can remember. (Apparently my first swap meet was in INDY when I was 6 months old. Started me YOUNG!!) Anyways, my first ever Mopar experience was my Grandpa's '67 Plymouth Barracuda fastback. He used to take me to Pre-school and that was the mode of transportation. I still remember him lighting it up leaving the school and then heading over to Micky D's for my happy meal so I could sit in the rear fold down seat and watch the cars go by as I ate my lunch. That car will go to the grave with me.

But my Mopar is a '73 Plymouth Satellite/RR clone, with a 318 2bbl. Its B5 blue with the white stripe and white interior, rallye dash, AC, power steering and power brakes. It has an 8 1/4 rear with 2.73 gears. At least I think those are the gears, I'll have to check that soon sooner or later.

I bought the car in late July from a guy in KY, and yes, I drove my *** out there and drove the car home, just like any other good Mopar guy. But I seriously can't say much about the car, other than that it is a RR clone. It was originally a Triple White Satellite, (white exterior, white interior and white vinyl top) and if anyone on here has any info on the production #s of a triple white car, that'd be awesome. Anyhow, I'm pretty sure it was special ordered for someone down in FL, even though it was built on Lynch Road in Michigan. It still dons the original interior, although it is in need of attention. It did have the original rallye dash and bezel until recently, when I replaced the bezel. It is gonna be a huge gremlin, I can already tell, because the wiring of the whole car is REALLY screwed up. I don't believe it has the original drivetrain, which sucks, but at least it has the same engine it left the factory with (already had the whole dash out trying to figure out why some lights work and some don't, and then messing with the wiper switch and motor, trying to get that to run properly.....PITA!)

I'm super proud to own the car, especially being so young, and I can't wait until next summer to get out and show it and drive the hell out of it. The G-pa already said the '67 is gonna get used sparingly, and my RR is gonna be the show and cruise in car.

The only other Mopar my family owns is a '69 Barracuda fastback, which is my dads. That car is under full resto, and has been since I can remember. It will have a mild 340 with 8 3/4 rear with 3.55 gears. Blackcherry and ghosted stripes. Cant wait to have all 3 cars done and drive-able! The last car we had was a '63 Plymouth Fury 4 door, with push button transmission (cool stuff right there). But that was sold on about 8 years ago to make way for some much needed loving of the 'cuda's.

Thanks for reading, and I hope to meet and talk to everybody, as FBBO is THE BEST Mopar forum out there. As I always tell everybody, "Mopar guys...they're a different breed."

For now, yes. It runs strong and I don't exactly have the $$ for a new engine. But I do plan on getting a new cam, manifold, and switching to a 4bbl carb. But for now that's about it. I do have a 360 roller sitting in my barn waiting to be rebuilt, so I may throw some time and money into that. But for now, just a dress up kit and figuring out the wiring is about it! The only other this is I'm eventually going to order some new door panels and kick panels to freshen up the interior, which is in a sad state of just plain being old. So I have a few things in mind to make it my own.

welcome to FBBO
