New kid in town!

Thanks! Yeah it is definatly a project, not sure what will be left original metal when done, upper rad support and rear roof structure I suppose lol

big project for sure, buy lots of bandages. you will need to build a jig or table for it to keep it all straight and together while you replace everything

To be honest, I wouldn't have bought that project. How much of it do you think is salvageable? Nonetheless, I'll be sitting here with the rest, watching as you cut up and replace it all. Good luck, and thanks again for sharing. I hope you don't get discouraged part way through...

Unibody wise not a lot, some roof structure, upper rad support. The stainless trims and regulators etc. I hVe a jig I'll post some pics of it later.

welcome to FBBO
good luck on your Rustoration,
you'll need it !!

Funny you call it that budnicks, I have been talking to my father in law and friends that I'm going to call it a rustoration. One way to think of it is it shouldn't have any rust left at all.

here is the jig we put together this weekend

Thank you! looking into a used set of front rails now supposed to be rust free for $235 a side.

Thanks onlyone, yeah I know of a lot of the companies for the restoration parts, I did the 73 which gained me a lot of knowledge on how the cars are constructed and where to buy stuff. I registered over at dc.com when I did the 73 before I knew of fbbo and gained some good knowledge there too.
