Hi - just joined. Name is Rich and have been a Mopar owner from way back. First car was a well-used eleven year old 53 Dodge Coronet sedan on its 5th Red Ram hemi engine and 6th transmission, or vice-versa, according to the mechanic I bought it from. First new car was a special ordered 69 Plymouth Sport Satellite 383, auto, A/C, buckets, etc., in Alpine White with black vinyl top & interior. (One car I wish I still had.) Then there was a gap of about 23 years, filled mostly with GM muscle cars. Third Mopar owned is a 69 GTX 440 4-spd bought in 1999 & restored in 2006. It's F3 green with F8 interior, all numbers matching. Fourth & last Mopar is a 53 Coronet convertible bought locally in 2009 from family of original owners. Car had been in storage 45 years and is completely original, including interior, top & 90% of interior. It also has the first year Red Ram 241 hemi, plus a Gyro-Torque semi-automatic transmission. It's a very early model & might be the oldest Dodge hemi convertible still existing. I only know of seven others.

Bottom line is now own upgraded versions of my first car & first new car. When life gives you a second chance, take it!

Thanks to all for the positive comments. For my fellow Coloradans, I try to attend several Golden Super Cruises each year, alternating cars so no one gets tired of seeing them. Also have been taking them to a few local shows each year, mostly just Mopar events.

Both are original Colorado cars, so were mostly rust free when acquired. As I mentioned, I did a full, but non-rotisserie, restoration on the GTX. Everything on it is original to the car, except the distributor (still looking for a dual point). It has the 3.54 Dana.

My intention when I first got the Coronet was to also do a complete restoration. However, the more I studied it and the more history I found out about it, I decided to keep it original. At some point down the road I might change my mind, but can only do that once. You can't un-restore them. It has all the options that were available, except wire wheels & a continental kit. Coincidently, it also has a factory 3.54 rear. I've had the 60 year old top down a couple times, but right now it is resisting.
