Hi all, just picked up a 66 Coronet Convertible last week. Looking forward to checking out the boards and diving into this build!

Welcome! Tell us more about your car.

Thanks, she's a Coronet 500; 440/4 speed A-833 (not originally). Body is in great shape, literally one spot in the drivers foot well that needs attention. Original A/C car. She runs and drives good, needs a bit of TLC all over. This winter I'll be pulling the engine and trans, going thru both, new gaskets---a few performance mods (cam-lifters etc)--and a general freshening up. New exhaust, steering gear, and a front end rebuild is planned....and get the a/c back working. Interior is mostly original, so I'll do a re-fresh there too. Lots of misc cosmetic things needed inside.

Nice 66, sounds like you have a great plan. Welcome from Alabama.

Welcome from Illinois. Looks great as it is. Sounds like the two of you will be spending a lot of Quality time together this winter and beyond. Keep us posted on progress as you go.
