My 1968 Coronet R/T! Bucket list car I picked up in September this year... My Dad bought a new 1968 Coronet R/T (QQ1 blue 4 speed) in May 1968 and I have been looking for a similar car for years... The car I bought is a non-numbers matching R/T in QQ1 blue with a 4 speed and some cool mods that make it "driver friendly"... It has power 4 wheel disk brakes, a Passon Hemi O/D equipped trans built by Brewers, QA1 front control arms with QA1 adjustable shocks all the way around, and large Hotchkis sway bars front and rear... The engine is a Six Pack setup like available in 1969 and up... Car has some dings and dents in its 25 year old paint but that gives it character and that much more fun to drive!! Since I've owned it, I have replaced the tires (due to age) and replaced the fuel lines and tank vent lines (this forum helped a lot with that research)... Plans are to fix a couple oil leaks, switch the clutch setup, and possibly swap out the Six Pack setup for a Edelbrock RPM/Holley combo to improve mid-range throttle response.. I plan on cruising in it a lot and just enjoying a different experience!

Cool R/T... You might want to keep that Sixpack & try some tuning... When they are "right" mid-range throttle response can be very impressive...

Welcome to FBBO from Ontario. That is a great looking '68 R/T! In my experience at area car shows, the '68 seems to be the rarest of Coronet R/T's. I am a model car builder, and coincidentally just finished a 1968 Coronet R/T hardtop, in light blue metallic, with white stripe and interior. I own a 1967 R/T, myself. Thanks for your pictures.

Welcome, nice car with good choice of mods. That six pack will do all you want it to with just a bit of fiddling.

Welcome from cold Southern Ontario. Fabulous car with many great features. This will be a lot of fun to drive.
