Hi All,

So I went out and bought a 67' Belvedere (sedan) on my birthday. This my first "classic" car and I'm looking forward to immersing myself into the gearhead society! I'll get a pic up as soon as I can!

Best,
Fuzz

Fuzz welcome to FBBO, good luck in your new classic car endeavor

Welcome!! great bunch of guys here and very helpful. It sure it fun to rediscover the great classic Mopars!

Thanks for all the welcomes! Here is my first pic! Ill try and get some better ones up.
I also have my first question...After looking at all the Belvedere/Satellite photos I noticed 99% of them are 2 doors amd look awseome. Is there such thing as a cool looking 4 door? I dont mind the grandpa look on my 4 door but if there is something I can do to spice it up a bit I would sure consider it! hehe!

Welcome fuzzrighteous!

#1. Wheels and Tires! You will be amazed at what a set of 15" Cragar SS's and white letter tires do to this vintage of a car!

#2. My personal opinion? You already have the top done...I would finish off the rest of the top of the car in Black... come over the fender crowns just by about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch, but no more as it may screw with the body lines. You could even play with a two stripe pin stripe where the colors merge...Silver would be a good complimentary color. This paint scheme will help subdue the 4 door look. It also can make the car appear 'sleeker' and lower to the ground. Want to get an idea of how it would look without spending the money on paint? Get some Black electrical tape and a couple heavy ply Black trash bags (they're easier to cut & cover more area). Cut & tape them to cover all yellow above the fender lines. Get back 20 to 50 feet and see what you think. If you don't like it you wasted 3 or 4 bags and a buck or two in tape. If you do like it, then the next step will be to get a line on a decent painter!

Good luck and report back!
