In the garage. Under the hood. Again.
Greetings folks. Lurked around for awhile, until I got another B-a '64 Sport Fury. I've previously owned a '64 Fury and at one time owned the body shell of Bud Faubel's Dodge 440 hardtop MW car(this was the car he tested the twin-turbo Hemi in),along with a number of MW parts. Man,I wish I had those back;layoffs suck. I'd post pics of my current ride, but dummy here exceeded his bandwidth on Photobucket and can't post anything until next month. Feel free to rag on me about that;I'll blame my involvement with vintage snowmobiles and the site I frequently visit.
I'm heading to work soon, but I'm going to hit you guys and gals up for some help with some electrical issues I've got. I've got head/bright lights, turn signals, and interior lights, but DON'T have taillights, brake lights, backup lights, license lights or front marker lights when light switch is pulled out. Replaced all bulbs and fuses and checked continuity at firewall block-only one terminal for headlights lit the tester. Hey,I'm a nuts and bolts and torque wrench kind of guy,and do not profess to be a superior being to electricians-you guys amaze me. I'll get more detailed tomorrow after work, and I'll be thankful for any help, though my questions have just begun. Hopefully I can reciprocate in kind and be of service to others here.

...A wiseguy,eh? You and I should get along just fine;subtle sarcasm is just one of the many services I also offer. Nah,it's not that serious;a simple ball-peen should suffice. A carpenter once told me that's how you fix electrical gremlins...maybe I should seek "professional" help, before I need psychiatric help.

Welcome.I used to live in flint. In belleville now still not too far from you

Hi, you might want to take off the kickpanel on the left and make sure the plug is plugged all the way in. It takes power to the rear of the car along the rockerpanel underneath the carpet. It is an 8 way plug that controls the light circuit for the rear of the car. Hope this helps. Mark

Welcome Al,I also found my way here.Jay

Welcome yourself. You know,if we keep running into each other like this, people will start talkin'...

I have to wait until December to post some pics of the Sport Fury;I exceeded my bandwidth, and even lost my pics on Larry's site from the A-1 show.

Last time I used one of those was at Hooters.

Friggin Hilarious :rolling:

Welcome to site AL..What kind of sleds do you have? Someone just gave me a 70?71? Motoski with a running 340. Worth anything?

Couple things I would check: ground(s) on tailights, power coming out fuse box, brake switch, power to back harness, directional switch, power out of headlight switch.
