Good day fellow mopar enthusiasts!
I‘m Marcel (just call me Marc) from germany. We have our own little forum in germany but I guess it wouldn‘t be a bad idea to get to know some guys from the legendary FBBO!
I‘m 25 years old and my dream has been owning a classic mopar for as long as I can think. I came into cars through my dad and since his passing in 2017 I worked towards owning a mopar we always wanted to had to wrench on it together. Sadly that‘s not possible anymore but that‘s life and how it goes sometimes.
I searched and found my car in April this year. It’s a 1968 Plymouth belvedere station wagon. It has a low comp 440 out of a 74 C-body paired to a 727. The car has some pretty bad rust issues hid under tons of bondo which I will be adressing in the coming months. Since there are absolutely no sheetmetal parts or whatsoever that won’t be the easiest thing to do but I’ll try my best. The 727 needs an overhaul too. I love the look of longroof american classics and fell in love with the car the first time I saw it and I’m falling in love again everytime I see it now. I‘m a lover for bare bones cars. No power brakes, no discs, no A/C. The plan is to keep it a decent runner under the theme of a muscle wagon/mild streetmachine. I‘ll attach some pictures of the car. If you have any questions regarding my person, my car or both feel free to ask!
Have a great day everyone!
