wow nice 64!! That yellow looks great!

Thanks, I wish I could say I did all the work, but most of it was from a Mopar Guy in SC. The paint is about 10 years old. looks great in photos and 20 ft away. has a few scratches etc. but is a real head turner at the car shows. People just don't get to see many 64 Polara's/ I love it. My first car was a 64 Polara 500 Anniversary Gold with a 318 automatic. I loved that car, traded it in while in the Marines in NC for a 68 Bk/Red Charger. Traded that in n Nashville in 77 for a green 71 Charger. OH to have all of those in the back yard today. I had absolutely no 'VISION' of the future what so ever.

1964 Dodge Polara 500 - Really nice early b body Mopar, California Black Plate Car ( have the original plates). Car came from Hemet Ca.
Rust Free Car - All original panels - Cowl, floors, trunk pan are in great shape.
interior from Legendary interior, new carpet,
new tires, front power disc brakes.
Has a 1969 mild built 383 big block, flowmaster exhaust, headers. Functional cold air flow with max wedge hood scoop. Nice cam & Mopar performance 1.5 adjustable rockers.
Mopar specialists Brewers Performance supplied all the 4 speed tranny components –
rebuilt A833 tranny, new clutch kit, shifter, linkages, everything tranny related is new.
Rear end chunk is a 391 posi-traction rearend in a 8 3/4 1965 742 housing.
Paint and bumpers are worn but still in pretty good shape.
Quite a conversation piece at cruise-ins as is.

NICE! You don't want to hear this, but, brace yourself, my uncle has a 64 Polara convert, black ext, black top, red int, 426 wedge, slap stick auto and ? rear. It has been in my family for years and it has spent the last 25+years parked behind the shop "rotting". Ooooooh that hurts doesn't it? Have you heard this before- I'm going to fix it up someday or it's worth more than that? Thing is, I don't think he would consider selling it after all these years.

Ummmmmmmm... Yellow like mine !! Welcome..............

Yea I have heard that so many time, I tried to buy a 64 Ford Galaxie 500 black, red interior, down in East TN a couple of years ago. sitting in a field. All I heard was grandson was going to fix her up. I'll bet that thing is still sitting there.

luckly no one ever did that to this one.
