new shoes for my 71 firehawk v. bfg's

i am currently running Cooper Cobras on my 70 Runner.4@ 255-60's. i love 'em...nice soft rubber....rides nice...and sticks to the road...handles wayyyyyyyy better....( and we all know mopars dont handle all that great) . and they werent all that expensive either. i dont drive this car everyday so if i get 3 years out of them...im happy....and ill go buy 4 more!

Cooper Cobras on the 79 300. Spirited local & long road trip driving; ride, grip, wear, looks, cost... very pleased.

well...the firehawks are on back order w/no availability dates. so i ordered BFG's, got them in 2 days.

i'll tell ya that a year and a half ago,I took my work truck in to firestone. Our service co said Ineeded a tire rotation. So I felt bad for them and said do an oil change too so they could make a decent buck. Acouple of hours later I called to see if they were done yet and they said that they were just getting it up on the rack to do the alingment and they allready had the battery in.
Huh WTF that danged truck did not need a battery I have put every mile on it since it came off the dealers lot.
What it was because we have a fleet service card they took the oppertunity to run up the bill and boy was I pissed.
I'll tell you just like I told them " I will sell the dam thing and walk before I ever do business with firestone again"
No firehawk here not now not ever and the same goes for bridgestone who owns those crooks. :angryfire: :angryfire: :angryfire:

I always run BFG 's on all my cars as well ,but this time .My Charger is running 255 / 70 R15 all around on my 73 rallye ...on all 46 vehicles i have owned 75 of them had BFG's on them ....
