Here is a video of the 2016 Shelby GT350. I don't expect anyone to get too excited over Ford on a Mopar site, but check out when they talk about the engine & look at how short the pistons are. Looking at the exotic innerds and what they are squeezing for HP out of today's engines is absolutely incredible.

Pneumatic valve actuation, that's new technology.
Or electro hydraulic (cam less) !

What I hope to live to see (I'm 67) is engines WITHOUT a camshaft, IE "actuated" and can be infinitely tuned for lift, overlap, duration "within limits"
