Been looking for a while for a forum for my car, and here it is. lol. Thankfully I found one. lol

Names Brian and I own a 75 Plymouth Fury coupe. It was my first car that my dad gave me. Drove it from jr high, all through high school, and right up until my first kid was born in 04. Sold it than, and been wanting it back ever since. So yesterday i bought it back. lol.

had to replace the fuel pump, filter and clean the lines, but it runs. Now just gotta rebuild the carb. Hopefully gonna find the parts i need to fix the rust in the rear quarters as I want to restore this car.

Anyway, here are some pics of the car.

welcome to fbbo

Thanks for the welcomes everyone. So far I have been able to find alot of info on here. Which is really nice.

A somewhat of an update......I was looking for a new carb and intake as the stock 2 bbl was leaking fuel out of...like...everywhere. lol. And I just so happened to run across a Mopar engine out at the junkyard my boss has. Did some research and found it to be another 318, but this one had a 4 bbl on it. So i grabbed the intake manifold off it. Still gotta check the numbers on the manifold, but I am hoping it will work.

I'll add my welcome, Perkul8r. Good luck with restoring the car. What a neat find--your original Mopar!
Looks like a future owner in the first pic on his trike--ha!

Once again, thanks for the welcomes guys. So far the site has been great for info. Alot of people have had some great info for me on my post in the 75-79 section.

And ya, my son is really big into cars. sad thing is he calls it my bump n run car. lol. only cause the front grill is broken out and it needs work. lol.

I am going to look at another fury tomorrow. But now my problem is...do 1 cut up to restore another??? I believe the other one i am looking at is a Fury sport and at least rust wise is way better off than my car.

Kinda a hard choice.

welcome Perk!!!

if it were me, and i had my first MoPar back to restore, hell yeah i would buy another one and use it to bring 'er back to life!!!

just my .02...:headbang:
