Hello, thanks for letting me be a part of the community. I bought my project back in september and have been working on it since. I'm in MI so salt has been an issue for my dream car. Been wanting to get one ever since I was a kid, now 30 I am finally on my way. It's got a long way to go but I hope to get her done within a couple years. Hopefully with a little help. Here are some pics.

Nice 68! I just joined yesterday and I have a 68 Charger as well. Looks like that car is going to be a lot of fun fixing up!

Hey fellow Detroiter, welcome to the site. `68's are my favorite, where did you find it? and what area are you in?

Here are some more pics as restoration continues. Started doing a lot of the individual, smaller, pieces. Rebuilt the grille, instrument cluster, hood hinges, pedal assembly, and other items. Looking and saving for some steel so I can work on the car. Going to need some panels for sure to get going.

welcome, looks like you're well on your way to a good start.

Wow! You really are in deep. I am jealous. I can't wait until I have the money to tear mine apart and restore it like that! So what are your plans with it? You going original or so doing your own thing?

Hello,
I found the car up in romeo area, I'm just south of Detroit, Downriver. Glad to meet a fan. You from around here?

I'm going for the good ol bullit charger look, from the legendary movie. Not exact but definately oil slick black. Hoping for basic stock look with a few mods hidden underneith.

I'm in West Bloomfield. Sounds like a great plan for your `68.

Moving this topic to projects and restorations.
