I started in the 80's as a pacifier for when the car was down. 81 GS1100,went down on that in 84 breaking the tibia & fibia and the wrist,then a GSXR 1100 which killed my back and finally an 86 GS1150 that grew into a weisco big block 1291 with a hidden 5lb bottle under the seat. I was king of the turnpike 'till Kawi came out with the ZX1100!! Those were some good daze!

WOW ! Lots in common , I use to drag race my GS1150 Solid rear end with wheelie bars and Slick ,1229 motor if memory serves 37mm carbs Head work 5 angle valve job , Under Cut Trans , Air shifter , only could use VP hi octane race fuel 9 second bike at about 151 MPH , Not so bad for the 80s . And my ZX11 took best in show at the 1997 Cruise night Motorcycle Division. At that time I also had the Honda XX1100 Black Bird that believe it or not , was faster then my KAW .
