Hey Everyone,
New mopar guy from Omaha, NE. I have a 1970 Roadrunner with a 1972 440 in it. I'm new to working on cars but I love to learn, research, and get my hands dirty. Already been reading a ton of info. Here's my girl, she is a little beat up but I will get her rolling soon. I will get some better pics up when I can fire her up.

Peace,
Oscar

Welcome to the forum, that's a fine choice of automobile you have there. What sort of fixing up? Does it drive, or are you going freshen up the looks?

Thanks Everyone! You all have some gorgeous cars too, I checked out your profiles. Photon440, it hasn't ran in 4 years but it used to run well. My initial plan for this first year is to first change out the fuel tank, weld in a new full cab pan, new trunk pan, get the factory AC working well, get some new tires, new plugs and wires, new battery, and clean the engine very well. I also really want a coyote duster filter but i'm not sure it will fit because I don't have an air grabber hood.

i hope to get this all done in the next few months, then proceed to strip it down to uni body next fall and get the body professionally repaired and painted, keeping the factory Vitamin C but I want a dust trail on it. As far as the engine goes, its one of those lower performing 1972 440's. I am going to keep it in there but want to dress it up to look like a 1970 440 with proper colors and parts. Goal is to have a good looking driver.

enjoy the hell out of it and please start a thread about your build and plenty of photos along the way! :headbang:

Welcome from Michigan. Nice choice, that's a fine car in the making.

the Coyote Duster air cleaner will fit with the stock hood, and a two speed wiper motor with one little adjustment.

Thanks Basket Case, thats great news. I searched but could not find a thread for this mod, I will look again. Snakeyes I will make a thread for sure. This forum is awesome, so many co folks!

all I had to do to make mine fit was to cut the tube off the back off the base. goes right on.!.jpg
