Hi all,

One of my friends told me about this site, and all I can say is sweet!
I have a few cars, but my B's are my favorites, here's a quick run down. (whoops, maybe not so quick)

#1 1967 GTX 440 At (column shift) white with red interior, no stripes all numbers match, 63K miles. I bought this when I was still in high school and was my first muscle car. I cracked a couple of pistons due to a distributor problem (bad bushings causing a backfire), so I had to stop driving it. It was rusty in the quarters, so I bought a CA car and cut it up, in the middle of the restoration, my father becomes ill and a year later he passes away. He was helping my do this car and after he was gone the car sat for 18 years at my folks place. Fortunately my mother ends up selling the house and I have to move the GTX to my house and now that I have to look at it, I really miss driving it, so next summer, work will start back on it. We'll be slowly redoing everything that we had done.

#2 1970 Charger R/T 440 At (floor shift) Red with black interior / top. 80K miles. My first muscle car was almost a 70 RT/SE from Atlanta, GA, but my father would not drive down and back and I couldn't do it myself, so I bought the GTX, anyway, fast forward 18 years and I really wanted a factory red numbers Charger R/T, I found this one about 3 hours away and it is a pretty nice car waiting restoration.

#3 1969 Road Runner 383 4-speed (bench seat) Rallye Green with black interior / top. 116k miles. This very car sat in my folks driveway when I was less than 6 years old. One of my brother's friends had the car and I always liked it. I saw it a few years before I got my driver's license (but I did not know it was the same car because when my brother's friend sold it there was an accident that totaled the car) Then another 15+ years pass and I see it again (still not knowing it was the same car) when my cousin's bought a farm house. Now another 10 years pass and I had found out it was the same car and finally knew who had it, but I couldn't find the person on the internet. So I broke out my old yearbooks to see if the name had any relation. I found who I thougth was a brother and called him. After talking to him, I went down to see the car, it was pretty rough, but it was the same car minus the transmission (how you lose this, I will never know), but all of the original motor was there. After about 2 months of negotiations and now it is finally mine.

My other cars include a 1969 300 Conv (formally my father's car), 1972 Dart and a 1973 Duster.

My wife has the cool cars, 1971 Challenger A78 (formal roof) big block, B5, white top / interior ( currently undergoing restoration) and two (yes, two) 2009 Challenger R/T Classics both in blue.

What part of Indiana...I'm originally from Warsaw, graduated from IU Bloomington, taught at Oolitic Middle School, and did some sub teaching at Brown County High and Bedford North Lawrence HS while the wife finished her degree at IU.

And I have family in Fort Wayne, and around New Castle.

Welcome ....Hoosier or Boiler?
