Newby with a 66 Satellite

Hi everyone, I just got back in the Mopar world and have a 66 Satellite with the Hemi, 4 speed. Hemi cars are new to me, but I have had a ton of other Mopars and several mid year Cor….. I am browsing the forums and finding good stuff.

Nice looking car, has it been out west all of it's life? My Satellite spent 3/4 years in CA. with original owner. Came back to CT. in early 70's. Jealous of the 4 speed.

It is. 3500 mile round trip to get it. In my opinion the car is much nicer than it came across on Bring a Trailer. I’m happy!

Not sure about the cars complete history. I was provided a lot of paperwork and will be going thru it. In my estimation the car is rust free and was painted a long time ago, no bubbling anywhere and that usually a sign of a solid car.
