Next level car-pooling . . .

Dropped the kids off at school today...running late after a big weekend. Spotted these two geniuses that my younger son knows from school. They are known as the "scooter gang", and they hang out together a lot.

They found an old wooden pallet at the tennis club on the way to school, and decided upon a new mode of transport. Minor design flaws which I am confident they will overcome eventually.
They even picked up an old toaster that someone had thrown out.



These guys will probably become rocket scientists one day.

My younger son arrived home from school to say the meme went viral around the school today. The boys riding the pallet got the toaster out at lunchtime and used it - only getting yelled at by one teacher because of their bad language. The toaster worked fine.

The boys have been putting a lot of effort into this Pallet car during the week...Friday afternoon, and the trip home is easier for some of them. Car can now accommodate passengers...albeit 'fare-paying' in the form of pushing.

That's what the world needs more of. Get rid of the new fangled electronics, games, social media and the kid's imagination comes back!
