We are finally going to let go of our home in Steeple Chase horse racing country down in Camden, South Carolina. There are two world class races every year, the Carolina Cup, and the Colonial Cup. The area is much like Saratoga, NY. Our house is in downtown Camden with wide tree shaded boulevards and stately old homes. It's is a four bedroom/2 bath single story of 2300 square feet. It has a wood burning fireplace in the livingroom, an office, kitchen/diningroom with 16" Italian tile /w mosaics on the floor and tiled countertops. The floors throughout the house are real hardwood with the exception of the kitchen, both baths, the office and the side porch. There is a central hall with mirrored bedrooms to either side plus an extra bedroom on the left. This flows into a back hall that runs at 90 degrees and has cabinets above and a built in shelving and a separate laundry room at one end. The other end is a big walk in closet. There are double French doors into a very big master bedroom ( 15 x 17) that has a tiled and screened side porch. To the other side is a full master bath with Italian and Spanish tile mosaic floor and a dual sink counter with a 5 ft x 3 ft mirror and separate lighting. The shower is a custom tile shower that has no glass door but instead has a double blind entrance with a sloped floor to the drain. The floor is 1"x1" mosaic tile and the walls are a combo of 16" and 8" tile with built in shelves and corner alcove seating and handrails. It stands at 5 foot 8 inches tall and you can see over the top all around. The outside of the shower walls is the same tile and the corner is built in Jacuzzi tub with mosaic tiled deck/walls/and steps and has roman tub fixtures. The two corner walls are frosted/pebbled glass windows 4'x4' on each side. The other corner is a toilet with a separate door. There is a full attic above the house and blown insulation throughout. The heat/AC is new as of 2013 and is a dual front/back of house system and is computer controlled. The back yard is 60' x40' and there is a one car garage with a new roof. The drive is gravel and runs down the left side of the house. The right side has a private stone tiled patio behind a tall wood fence all around the property. There is a 200 year old oak tree in the back yard, also Mimosa trees and many plantings. the side patio is shaded by another oak an the front yard has Dogwoods, azaleas, a twin trunked oak and some other plantings. We want $ 140,000 dollars firm. It appraises at 179.000 but our neighbors sold a few years ago to move with his job and took the first offer to get gone and it lowered the area prices.
