Replacing the axle bearings on my 67 GTX, once all the old was removed and things cleaned up I see a small Nick exactly where the seal rides.
Can I just 2 part epoxy and file smooth or is there a better repair?
Thanks Dan

A Speedy Sleeve would be perfect here. Google it.

I think JB Weld putty or original would hold up for a seal.

If you can find the right size sleeve, that would be the way to go. I have used JB weld in situations like this with satisfactory results.

sold a lot of Speedy Sleeves at the IH dealer.

See if you can space the seal in/out to miss the nick mark.
