I have a 6 bbl "spacer/fogger" based Nitrous system available to me that I am considering buying. Anyone use one on their 6 bbl setup? Details of the experiences? Thanks.

Not sure if that would work on a 6 pack. Is there a spacer under each carb?
Yes. 3 spacers, 1 for each carb. Outboard carbs only have the spray bar. I sent a "PM" to Purple Beeper on this forum after I found a post where he had the exact same system. No reply yet. Thanks.

So does the center carb have the fogger in addition to the spray bar? Not sure how well this would work. Maybe someone on here has tried it?
Center carb plate is a spacer only. Outboard carb plates have the "pipe" that the nitrous and fuel flow into on opposite ends of the "pipe". Purple Beeper has used this system, I am hoping he will check in.

Check your inbox biomedtechguy. That is a "plate" system. Foggers nozzles are when you have a "T" (actually a "Y") that combines the nitrous/fuel at the injection point. Plate systems do the same thing, but the nitrous/fuel enter the engine through tiny holes in little copper/brass tubes places right next to each other.
I keep eyeballing the center carb spacer plate (no nitrous/fuel spray bars) since it is obvious you could add a second stage of nitrous (if there's clearance) there. Believe it or not, these six pack NOS systems have been around since the 1980's. Nitrous DOES work, just don't run the engine lean & use forged internals above 150hp shots. In my Mustang, a 150hp shot (single fogger nozzle in front of throttle body) dropped my 1/4 mile time 1-1/2 seconds

Ok that makes it clear as to what you mean. I am wondering if the nitrous and added fuel from the front and rear spray bars will be distributed evenly to all the cylinders. Have you tried one out on your six pack Beeper?

I haven't hit the button on this system yet because I'm still working out some carburetor issues. All I can say is that this particular NOS system has been around since the mid-'80's and I'm sure the fuel/nitrous is distributed as evenly as the air/fuel from the outboard carburetors, so I'm not worried about it. I will be checking my plugs once I "turn it up" to the 250hp setting however.

Good luck with your carb issues. I know you've really been having probs there. It may be easier to send them to Lewto or Pro Max and have them fixed. I also have a really good carb guy in Denver who can re build them. People send him stuff from all over the country. PM me for his number.

Thanks for the tip, but the car is running like it has a new engine in it! It looks like I had an obstruction in the center metering block, possibly a wrong carb gasket & one of the outboards had a "mystery" throttle plate on it, possibly from a Chevy/Ford. I have to adjust the carbs & limit my mechanical advance in the distributor and then I can test this nitrous system. I think I will pull a few degrees of timing out (MSD timing retard) when the button is on.

Cool, glad you finally got it fixed. We run nitrous on a 383, and we take 4 degrees of total timing out for that. From 38 total to 34.
