ok, so i have been working to revive my electrical system on my 67 plymouth satellite, i have all lights working now. here is my question when i turn the emergency flashers on they only work at the rear, and i have no indicators on the dash flashing. I checked the schematic and they show to be wired to the dash indicators as well as the forward lights. and ideas?? the turn signals work perfect front and rear and the indicators work fine as well, just not when the flasher is on.

I did try that and nothing, I pulled the switch itself and checked the posts for output I found that one had nothing, so I jumped the posts together and everything worked! I disassembled the switch and cleaned the terminals reassembled the original switch and everything worked perfectly. thanks for the input BIGMANJMOPAR.

the flasher switch. it is a separate switch on the 67's. just in case you were not aware of that. it is dash mounted, and has a four post plug. the turn signals work fine, not bad for an original part.

So if I understand correctly, they flash in the rear but not the parking lamps up front.

Do they flash (front) with the headlamp switch on in the parking light position?

yes that is/was correct. the emergency flasher's worked on the tail lights but not the front running lights nor did the dash indicators light up. however the turn signals worked both front and rear and the dash indicators worked as well. what I found was that the emergency flasher switch has a worn connector inside of the switch, after I repaired the switch everything worked. it was just a strange problem.

Those switches are know to get corroded inside as they don't get used often. Same switch as the hold open on the Charger. Can't hurt just to exercise it from time to time.
I was also going to suggest that someone had put the incorrect headlamp switch in, since park lamps go off on 66/67s when the headlamps go on.
But I am glad you got the issue corrected.

thanks, ODZking, and the park lamps do go off when the headlights go on. so it is correct. that was the problem with the switch a little corrosion on one of the contacts.
