No reverse or drive!

Had an issue last summer where the valve body was only hanging on by 5 loose screws,the other 6 were in the pan. That was last summer. Have never had any other issues other than leaks here and there. Worked great last Saturday in a parade. Rebuilt oil pump last week to stop leaks. No issues- just started today

Its simple. The high /reverse clutch isn't holding. Fluid level, band adjustments (unless the KD band never releases) are nowhere near the issue. If you read up you will see the only component applied in both 3rd and reverse is the high/rev clutch. It needs to come apart and find out why it burned up the clutch. Reaction shaft rings worn/broke, high piston seal cut, 2nd gear band seized, low fluid pressure.
