HAVENT BEEN ON IN A WHILE, REPLACED MOPAR DISTRIBUTOR BALLAST RESISTOR AND INSTALLED MSD READY TO RUN DISTRIBUTOR( 1965 DODGE CORONET 440 ENGINE) NOT GETTING ANY SPARK.COIL CHECKS OUT . CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN AND DIAGRAM TYING ING 1 AND IGN 2 TOGETHER AT ING SWITCH AND HOW THIS DONE.HAVE READ THIS IS A PROBLEM WHEN SWICHING TO MSD. THANKS

What coil are you using? If factory, the bal res MUST be retained but the MSD dist needs to get FULL 12v.

The way I did it was take the ballast resistor and turn it over. Remove the resistor carefully
Take a piece of 10 gauge wire and solder it in place of the resistor. Put it back on the car and plug the wire harness in
it looks stock but gives you the full 12 Volts
you don't have to modify your wire harness this way either

No problem bypassing the bal res that way. Neat & tidy. But if the coil is designed to be used with a bal res, a bal res of the correct resistance should be used.
