no start 73 RoadRunner

I just went and picked up a rusty MI Roadrunner and after much fiddling I can't get it to crank with the key or spark the plugs...changed the solenoid - ECU - ballast resister/ 4 pin... could it be the neutral safety switch?...cleaned the bulk head and check grounds and wires all seems to be in order and unspliced...will crank with a trigger at the solenoid but no spark...hmmm:thinker:

k got it to spark but what i found under the dash was no fun...had the column wire clip burnt at a 16-18 gauge red wire...was bypassed from clip to a black with white stripe and a solid black wire...removed the black with white tracer and bam...spark and key...but have no idea what the blk/w* wire is for
