Non-MOPAR WIW

Geez, I can't see $12K, or even $7.5K for that matter. The paint looks to be a 20 footer like my 71 Ranchero. The little rust in the bed corners can be taken care of easily as long as a 440 doesn't fall through the bed :rolling: but it really is a plane Jane car. Manual drums, no A/C or other desirable options that I can tell. I suspect it has PS though. Might even be an original 307 car. Hmmmm, I paid $6200 for my 71 Ranchero and it's a 351 C 4V car with factory air, hideaways, and no rust except the spot in the cowl area. The bad thing is it has a cheapy paint job and some restoration work done by a blind guy with a rattle can and zip ties :edgy: If you are looking at it for a keeper then I'd say $4K or less to leave you some room to fix it.

Like someone else said, I think you can pick up a Ranchero that's in better shape for cheap. Good 73 and later ones seem to be plentiful and the plain 302 70/71's are out there too. I'll let you know if I find a nice dry one out my way

(sound of crickets):waiting:

I'd be real happy with a 65 Coronet 4 speed car for the same money in the same neck of the woods:edgy:

Bueller?

Up here in the salt belt $6500 it would be gone within the week.

I would not pay that for the car, but based on the pictures and if it is not full of bondo and the bed looks good under the rubber mat he may very well get that kind of money. It appears to be a repectable looking driver.

That is just the kind of car that someone will throw some SS emblems on it and a few other things to clone it to an SS396.
