Howdy Folks, been active on FABO quite a bit as i own a 71 Plymouth Duster, but I'm jumping over here to do some research on 440 Big Blocks which i think are a lot more popular over here than for the A bodies.

Toying with the idea of replacing my 360 small block with a Big Boi motor.

Welcome to the site!! That 440 sure makes things tight in that smaller engine bay....and the extra weight plays not so nice with the front to rear weight bias. Years ago a buddy pulled out a warmed up 340 from his Dart and shoehorned in a 440 that was also warmed up. Traction went away and wasn't as nice handling as it was with the skinny block plus it wasn't much faster afterwards either. If you still want a big block, I would go with a 400 and drop in a 440 crank. That ends up with 451 and is lighter than the 440 but still heavier than the skinny block and it gives you a bit more room in the engine bay vs the 440.
