northern rads

anybody give some insight on northern rads. looking for a shroud to fit it. rad is in a 64 fury 383 4 speed and it has a direct fan which i think is wrong i think it should have some kind of fan clutch. any ideas with this would be helpful. heating up more in traffic then on the road. none a/c car engine is a mild build all street type stuff. the guy even has a dick landy cross ram intake on it.

Get a shroud from Summit, 135 bucks, but your radiator will need flanges for the shroud to bolt to.

Ok 5.7 will do with summit. Should I leave direct drive fan or get something else.

Make sure that your radiator has a place to bolt the shroud to, very important. Direct drive fans will pull more air, but they are constantly spinning. I’d get a fan clutch with matching 18 inch fan.

5.7 thank you very much for your help. The kid that owns it is learning about his car. It was his grandpa's the sad thing is grandpa past on. So now he is learning how to work on it. It even has a dick landy cross ram manifold on it. He will be joining the forum soon.
