On his property, does he get salvage rights?

A Norwegian man was sleeping soundly in early-morning Trondheim Fjord’s coast yesterday (22). So soundly, in fact, that he was completely oblivious of a gigantic metallic mass adrift in his direction.

The man woke up to find that utter destruction spared his house for just a few meters, as – to his complete surprise – he found out that a massive cargo ship had run aground and narrowly missed crashing into his home.

I would charge them for damages and $10,000 USD per day for docking. Access to the ship from the property would be extra of course.

Plus beer.

If that's an oil slick, his property is going to stink for quite a while.

In Florida, oceanfront homeowners were being held responsible with getting rid of boats that "migrants" ran ashore and left in front of their homes.

That’s even cooler than the couple in Pennsylvania who ended up with a damaged locomotive stranded in their yard for months!

That has to be MASSIVE incompetence then.
There's a bunch of containers on deck, so it's loaded, yet it looks Iike the waterline is 15 or more feet out of the water.
Considering container ships aren't noted for speed, it seems like it must have been going near full speed to run aground that hard.

For some train buffs, myself included, that would be a welcome visitor.

Considering AI and photoshop, I question every questionable photo I see. Is this legit?
I linked to the news source article. Daily Mail, pretty big news source. Not saying they were not duped, but they are supposed to be some what credible. If you can call any mainstream news sources credible, which you can’t, but being as this isn’t a political story, I would consider it being somewhat credible coming from the Daily Mail.

I did not click on the story, so I didn't see the source. It just seemed SO improbable. I guess my scepticism is on overdrive.
I like the Daily Mail. They often cover US political stories/scandals that don't appear in our MSN here.

That had to feel like an earthquake that thing coming ashore
must had made a huge racket too

seems implausible to not be awakened by it,
dramatic license I assume, by all parties

oh well
