Picked this thing up for 150.00

1986 G3500 350 I assume a 350 trans as well. Starts right up and runs good.. Its smog era so all that crap needs to go away. But it started and drove 5 miles to my house. It needs some help but the engine doesnt smoke a bit and it has all 6 brand new tires. Need to get a fuel tank and sender but thats it. Spent 2 hours pressure washing off the tree poop. The cool thing is that the lift gate works quite well. Needs a bracket re welded and the front pans need some work.

I had an '83 and an '86. They both had TH400 transmissions and 350 motors. We called the '86 The Chatterbox because of the persistent exhaust leaks and the smog tune.

I will be removing all of the smog stuff the smaller 1/2 inch stuff that attaches to the exhaust manifold on the passenger side is broken in all 4 places and Im pretty sure they can be plugged off with 3/4 NPT caps. Then the rest of the smog stuff will be gone. The hydroboost brakes need some attention as well. And it definitely needs a tank and sender.
