Any of you guys brave enough to pull a stunt like this? lol I wasn't long putting them in the spare room. She's nice enough to let me have parts in the spare bedroom. And most of the Charger parts in the basement.
I'm blessed

I say, I want to work close to you. And as long as I clean up when done. I wish I could bring my engine in as I want to rebuild it

Oh yeah guys! Not my first time in the sink washing parts! lol

Thanks for the reply guys.

Lets hear from other guys with understanding wifes/girlfriends. How understanding is she???

I used the spare bedroom to store parts in.
My wife referred to it as the warehouse from time to time.

I baked the POR-15 paint on my brake rotors in the oven years ago....stunk the house out, but wife was OK with it.

Smelled like a 747 had parked up in the house for a few days.

I kept my old Harleys in the house over the winter for years. If you have the room it's quite an attraction. Now they rest in the attic of my garage. 47FL and a 60FLH.

Funny you should mention that cryplydog. The young fella bought a house with his girlfriend right? I suggested that he keep his bikes in the rec room in his basement for the winter. A CFR250r and his Suzuki Boulevard. She(his girlfriend) loved me for it.
Good Boy! lol

Yep, wouldn't be the first time something got scrubbed in the tub in the "guest" bathroom...
or in the kitchen sink...
It's partly why she agreed to building the garage some years ago.
Very understanding wife. She knows I could be into a lot worse hobbies than old cars.
I do clean all my guns on my desk, right here in front of the monitor though.
She says the smell of the Ballistol is nauseating, but doesn't fuss much. :)

I had an entire hemi in our formal dining room. All the boxes were stacked into cubes, and we put table-cloths over them. Looked like furniture.

i have the windshield back window and dash to the road runner in our bed room and she is good with it

Holy moly that’s a good wife. How’d that next meatloaf taste?

Axels in the freezer/bearings in the oven. Parts on the table/kitchen counter/bathroom.....

The paint shop got over spray on my chrome lug nuts and wheels. I had the wheels polished and I cleaned my nuts with paint stripper. Ouch! lol

I didn't want the threads to rust so I popped them in the oven for 10 minutes on low. I couldn't resist the pun when I took them out to cool.
