you mean theses, they look to be transistor's for electronics of some kind & those fins around are cooling/heat dissipation, could be an early ignition spark enhancer of some sort.. the CEI Gold Race Boxes from Mopar Performance, have a similar design on the external transistor, for keeping the ignition cooler, to help it live longer....
