Checked the link out and it has been pulled of the internet. Guess it went fast..............

I texted Dan, the guy representing Licata's Auto body and sales and he informed me The GTX sold for $10,025. Frankly I think the sealed bid was a way to legitimize Licata's purchase of the car. My bid was $25 below the winning bid. I am not trying to start a conspiracy theory, but it seems to close to be mere coincidence. Licata's run an auto body and mechanical shop as well as storage facility. They acquired the car through a storage lien on the vehicle as well as 5 other Mopars. The GTX was the prize, the others were rusted beyond repair and will likely be salvaged. My guess is they will restore the car for themselves or a customer. Who knows? The good news is all I am out is time talking to Dan and $30 to send my bid FedEx ..... better luck next time. Such a sweet old Mopar! damn!!

I figured as well that something may be amiss, but a guy can dream. Oh well.
