I received these as a thank-you-for-your-help gift. I pulled one of the rings out and didn't care for the look of the edge - I'm hoping that someone in FBBO Nation can put these brand new, never mounted trim rings to good use. The OER description says 2-1/2" deep but if you look at the attached photo of my vertical measurement on a flat surface they look to me more like 2-5/16" or 2-3/8".
