OER Rubber Quarter Panel End Caps

Has anyone else had fitment issues with the rubber end caps that screw to the quarter panel within the door jamb to seal off the rear window/quarter panel? I purchased a set of OER's and the fitment is absolutely terrible. 4 screws hold these on and only 2 align. Another crummy reproduction part from OER. I figured I'd ask. I cleaned up the original ones and reused them.

If your absolutely certain they're the right ones and not the wrong part in the right package or something like that, it doesn't surprise me at all. I bought some of their A-pillars because mine were cracked and broken, and the OERs fit like total crap. I got them to work 'okay', but for such overpriced pieces of cheap plastic you'd think they would slide right in.

As long as they aren't torn or otherwise damaged, I just soak them overnight or so in a small container of Simple Green. Brings them back like new.

I would rather clean up and reuse whatever I can
then try to make the cheap china junk fit..
