It’s a 68! And thanks for info on the carpet. This car had none when I started this project

The sending unit I showed does not match the ones I’ve seen in the numerous A body cars that I have owned. Mine looked different from a ‘68 Satellite that I had here last year.
The floor of the OPs car looked like a 66-70 B body so that is why I posted what I had. I didn’t know if I was helping or not but I thought that I’d give it a try.

Thanks Greg, I only new that it was a 68 from previous post about other things on his car.
