My SuperBee has had a transmission leak for some time now. Needless to say but the underside of the car is coated with trans fluid. I want to clean it up so I can undercoat it. What do you guys recommend. Thanks to any and all responses.

I think it already is undercoated apparently. Did you fix the leak? That should be the first priority. Then pressure wash the underneath. If you have access to a hot water pressure washer that you be ideal. I would imagine you could rent one.let it dry and undercoat it.

If you can use a hoist I would start with a couple cans of engine cleaner then hot soapy water and a scrub brush, Then pressure wash/rinse. Let it dry then scrub again with a grease and wax remover like PPG 330 and a scotch brite pad or similar after it dries out again chase around with a air gun and you should be ready to under coat.

Industrial Purple or Super Clean (same stuff really) works well on oil. As above, scrub, pressure wash, degreaser, etc..

Isn't that a song? (sung to the tune of Please release me - let me go) Please degrease me - get me clean!

Thanks Meep-Meep I got a gallon of Purple power at Walmart for less than five bucks. Put it in my weed sprayer and sprayed the undercarriage. Borrowed a pressure washer from a friend and hooked it to the hot side of my washing machine. It worked awesome. Thanks for the tip. Cheap and easy. No comment. Also I picked up an eight track of that song you mentioned and played it while I pressure washed but I couldn't hear it. Thanks to all, Randy

put it on a lift and pressure wash , there is so much detergent in trans fluid might come out cleaner for the leak.

It's funny, we noticed in the latter 70's, a lot of these cars with unfixed leaks had less floor corrosion than the maintained cars. Natural rustproofing.
