Hey Guys,

Since I have the oil pan off to replace the gasket I was thinking of getting a new oil pan. If the new oil pan has baffles in it do you still need a windage tray?

Thanks,

Baffles keep the oil from sloshing away from the pickup.
A windage tray is supposed to keep the oil from wrapping around the crank, so it can return to the sump where it belongs, were the baffles try to keep it, once its there.

Just my 2-cents. The only two reasons to replace an oil pan is #1-to increase oil volume or #2-because the one you have is so bent up & has holes in it so large you can't weld it up
