Ol' Man Winter Is Finally Here. ...

I don't mind it but the bedroom door is right across the hallway from the back door. When I opened it this AM to let the big dog out I almost got frost bit waiting for the damn cat to decide if he really wanted to go out. Finally put my foot under his butt and sent him flying, gently....lol.

I will be thinking of you today Ghostrider when I do my Annual viewing of the very "Vermonty " movie White Christmas with Bing and Danny!! Yup, 0 degrees here this morning and more snow tomorrow. After all........This is Burlington!

High 40*'s today, in the low 30*'s last night,
it's finally feeling like Christmas time...

I gotta' admit I love the sunny & normally great weather
some 300+ days a year here thou, the 60 or so days of rain &/or snow
occasionally aren't all that bad....
I get some **** done in the winter, but means I have to save up for spring,
to fix all the crap winter destroys...
It freaken' frustrates the hell out of me, takes too much of my cars funds
away for house repairs/maintenance far too often...

It's been rainy here for the past 2-3 weeks off & on we do need it,
a couple of dustings of snow when it gets cold enough...

Did I say how much I hate shoveling snow too ?

Calif. boy born & raised I love the sunshine, even if it's cold...

Our local deer have started looking for food. Just dumped 2 bags of corn, out beside our creek. I found a frozen mourning-dove in the driveway yesterday. Looks like it fell-asleep and froze.
