We still got 'em here.

they some darn cool "grocery getters" .......... mom always drug me out to the A&P, they had coffee grinders at the checkout, smelled awesome

cool grocery getters, cool old photos, a piece of time
allot of 4 drs weren't there ?

And the best part of it was, 95% of those old cars had a trunk that could haul enough groceries home to feed a family of 6 for a month, especially those 2 1958's(Chevy/Ford) side by side, as for the Mustangs, Pinto and VW, that's a different story. In the last photo, did they unload that tiny one out of that 49 Ford's trunk to run through the isles in that supermarket? Excellent photos...really enjoyed them! Keep em coming.

COOL ! I see my first car, a 57 Olds 2 dr hdtp and a car I have now , a 1956 Chrysler 2 dr hdtp. Also a 1 passenger Isetta--back in those days you would see one of them every so often................................MO

I used to dig parking on the roof. This place is now a Staples. b396.jpg

Check the prices posted in the windows of some of the stores. With food prices these days, I get to eat a lot of beans and mush.:yuk:
